3-piece design
Like the Merkur and the Perfecto razors I reviewed before, this product uses a three-piece design held together by a single bolt that you twist on the handle.
These types of razors are the easiest to manufacture; thus they have lower manufacturing costs.
Simple design
Assembly is pretty straight forward – you’ll just need to line up the blade with the small metal brackets, attach the base then screw it on the handle.
If you look at the handle, it is smooth with no knurling whatsoever.
Yes, it looks nice but be careful when using this as it may slip in wet conditions though Shaveology says it uses a “non-slip” handle.
Is it easy to load the blade?
This product utilizes the standard 3 piece design. It is one of the most common designs for safety razors that’s why it is relatively cheap and loading the blades is easy.
Assembly requires lining up the three parts along with the blade.
Make sure to hold the sides of the top and base plate with the blade, so it lines up evenly.
Aggressiveness
This razor isn’t aggressive at all because there is minimal blade exposure. I’d say this razor is a 5/10 in terms of aggressiveness.

Grip
